Flaxsleep Launch Party

This could not have been a more fun and more successful event!  After shooting product with Flaxsleep last month, I was super stoked to be called back to capture their Launch Party.  So many people, friends and families of the Flaxsleep Trio, came out to show their support and many more passersby also joined to see what all the fuss was about.  We all crammed into Little Mountain's tiny shop to mingle, enjoy drinks and snacks, and of course to jump into Flaxsleep's Photobooth Bed!  It was such a joy to be witness to this exciting milestone for these hardworking women and an honour to have played a small part in commemorating the wonderful hot summer evening of their launch.

Maxwell's New Showroom

Certainly the greatest perk of this job is meeting so many new people, so many people in industries you know nothing about where you get the opportunity to widen that horizon and learn new things.  The family here at Maxwell Fabrics is a very tight-knit group of really lovely and warm human beings.  They recently moved into a new Showroom and I was called in through a friend to mingle and capture the celebration of their new space.

Once A Tree | Gillian Segal Showcase

This was a last minute event I was so lucky to be a part of, thanks to fellow Tsawwassenite and photographer, Tracey Ayton.  I love new experiences, and this was certainly a change of space and environment that fed into the interior-lover part of my brain.  Once A Tree promotes a collection of Interior Designer by Showcasing an inspired space that is lovingly and secretly crafted by the chosen designer.  This evening's event celebrated the work of the very talented Gillian Segal.  Friends, family, and those in the industry came together for a soiree of wine tastings and pairings, delicious appetizers and most of all, anticipation for the hidden gem waiting to be revealed.
